3 People Attacked A Reporter

As per reports, 3 individuals allegedly attacked a reporter of a Punjabi daily, Avtar Singh Chhajli, with a hammer and a ‘gandasi’, hurting him badly near his house here today.

Avtar Singh Chhajli was taken to the local civil hospital, from where he was admitted to Government Rajindra Hospital, Patiala.

A case has been lodged against the charged.

He added said according to the complainant, the assault had been planned because of an old antagonism.

He said that Avtar Singh’s left leg got fractured and he also got wounds on stomach and brow.
