Bhakra Repairs Work – A Joke For Authorities

Well known dam Bhakra is deteriorating with the passing time.

For repairing work, the water level in the dam kept low from Sirhind to Khanauri.

The centre govt has also sanctioned a fund of Rs 3 crore for the repairing works.

As per the officials, the dam will get more water on Sunday.

After this, the repairing work will get hide and the authorities will not be able to find any proof of carelessness

From the last few years, the authorities have been ignoring all this.

A worker from the site said that they got orders to just repair the upper portions because when the authorities pay visit to the site, they will see the upper parts which are noticeable and other gets hide in the water.

He also said that the irrigation officials also came to visit the site and they were happy with the repair work.

This seems to be a game played by the people concerned.
