Bhindranwale Plaque: Parkash Singh Badal Should Make Clear, Says Virdi

The CPM has expressed disapproval towards the SGPC’s engraving the name of eighties militant commander Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale on a memorial plate at the Operation Bluestar memorial within Sri Harmandar Sahib in the holy city of Amritsar.

Charan Singh Virdi, secretary of the Punjab state group of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM), stated that the individuals who loved public concordance would be stunned to know that the novel monument at Sri Darbar Sahib consisted of a stone boasting an engraving, which reads, “In the reminiscence of the fourteenth leader of Damdami Taksal, sacrificial victim Sant Giani Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale and all martyrs of 1984.”

Charan Singh Virdi asked CM Parkash Singh Badal, deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal, and SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar to clarify to the individuals how they proposed to mend the damage once it was exercised.
