BJP To Compete On 35 Seats In Zila Parishad Election In Punjab
Senior BJP head and local bodies minister Bhagat Chunni Lal stated that his party would field candidates on 35 seats in the zila parishad polls in Punjab.
While addressing the media people in Mandi Gobindgarh, the minister stated the SAD-BJP coalition would compete on all zila parishad and block samiti seats and would win polls with a big gap.
Bhagat Chunni Lal pointed out that polls to municipal council will take place after the panchayat elections.
Lal stated that without any special package from the Centre administration, the Punjab business was lagging behind.
Mandi Gobindgarh municipal council’s ex president Dharampal Rao and district BJP president Rakesh Gupta also attended the said occasion.
