Brahm Mohindra Fears Rigging In Vote Counting

On Tuesday, the Congress allegedly accused SAD-BJP for rigged counting stating before the counting day the ballot papers were tempered with.

To enforce their point MLAs Brahm Mohindra and Lal Singh showed outside of a room at the government Polytechnic, Urban Estate, ballot boxes with broken seals and ballot papers.

Pouring a shower of questions as to how ballot papers, when each is accounted for, is in the open? Why the seals are broken? How did the broken seals come out?

They alleged the SAD used their links with the administration office and tempered with the ballots mainly in the areas where the congress was strong.

PPCC vice-president Lal Singh alleged SAD-BJP for first rigging and capturing booths then changing ballots in the night stating this is not the public result.

On the pooling day itself, Mohindra has apprehended rigged counting issuing a press release.

Rajpura congress MLA Hardial Kamboj calling it murder of democracy stated after Devi Bai won by a margin. As per the district administration the boxes were opened in front of the SAD and congress candidates or their agents denying any such charge. Deputy Commissioner GK Singh stated a video footage is available to prove all work was done by the rule. All charges are baseless.
