Congress Ready To Contend All Block Samiti, ZP Seats

The Congress party will field applicants for all block samiti as well as zila parishad seats in Fatehgarh Sahib in the upcoming polls.

“The party will field applicants of spotless image,” district Congress committee (DCC) president Harinder Singh Bhambri said here on Tuesday.

“The Congress workers’ gatherings are being arranged in all blocks and the DCC already had applications from the candidates,” he said.

The applicants’ names would be declared soon, stated Bhambri, adding that his party was positive the citizens would vote against the Punjab’s ruling association.
