Cylinder Blast Injures Man In Patiala

In a shocking incident, a one person got injured in cylinder blast, which took place at House No. 1 A/10, Guru Nanak Nagar, Patiala at around 8:30 am on May 03.

“It was a cylinder blast that occurred in a house at Guru Nanak Nagar”, said the police officials.

Police said that a man identified as Yashpal Singh, 45, sustained injuries. He got 40% burn injuries.

As per reports, Yashpal Singh is working as a Manager in Cooperative Bank, Ablowal.

After getting information of the incident, police and rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to the city hospital.

Eyewitnesses said that the blast has destroyed the complete house, articles in the house, and Honda Activa and window panes of neighboring homes.

Accompanying the blast fright spread out in the surrounding area and individuals took to streets.

The early exploration disclosed that explosion occurred because of cylinder blast, police maintained.
