Amid allegements of booth capturing by SAD workers in his electorate, rustic development minister Surjit Singh Rakhra stated that the zila parishad and block samiti elections end on a calm note.

Congratulating the masses for passionately participating in voting, Rakhra stated that the high polling proportion had written another episode in the record of the democratic system of the state.
