Go It Alone By Shiromani Akali Dal Upsets Partner In Nabha

Disturbed over being disregarded in the selection of applicants, the BJP will contest the SAD, its ruling associate, in each block samiti poll in Nabha assembly constituency.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is bothered that the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) electorate in-charge, Makhan Singh Lalka, has announced applicants for each block samiti seat without talking to it.

“Not even a single seat has been offered to us,” BJP state secretary Dhillon stated. “We might be junior partner in the coalition however we’ll not accept this. We’ll take on the SAD candidates on all seats.”

The BJP might be contending just single seat (Rajpura) in the city of Patiala but it had sufficient weight in the region to demolish the SAD.

On May 04, Gurtej Singh also headed a party mission to chief minister of Punjab at Rakhra village, where Parkash Singh Badal asked rustic growth minister Surjit Singh Rakhra to equalize the argument.

“All heads of the alliance partner should be satisfied in the elections,” said the CM. “This issue will also be addressed, don’t worry.” Sikander Singh Maluka, in charge of the SAD affairs in Patiala, also has received the BJP’s complaint. Later, the alliance had a meeting in Patiala, in which both parties from Nabha failed to reach a consensus.

“Nabha is the only seat where we have this problem,” said Dhillon. “In every other place in the city of Patiala, we have got our due share. If the SAD stands by its list, we’ll not let it win.”

BJP state president Kamal Sharma was information of the matter. Despite repeated remarks, he was not available for remarks.
