Indian Clinic Refuses Selling Gurkiren’s Internal Organs On Black Market

Physicians in India stated that the internal organs of a UK girl, who expired while on trip in the Punjab, were not sold on the black market.

The 8-year-old Gurkiren Kaur, from Birmingham, England, lost her life on April 2, minutes after she was given a jab for dehydration at doctor’s clinic in India, her family members added.

Gurkiren’s body was missing the majority of inner organs when her body came back to Britain, and her family fear she may have been a victim of the prohibited trade in human body parts.

Physicians had assured not to take out her inner organs, her parents stated, adding efforts to get data have been disappointed by Indian medical functionaries.

Shabana Mahmood, associate of British parliament from Birmingham, lifted what she called the “intensely suspicious conditions” with British Foreign Secretary William Hague.

But, Dr. Surinder Oberoi, chief of forensic medicine and toxicology at Government Medical College in Patiala, India, stated that the internal organs had been taken out and sent to research labs for analysis as the girl’s reason of demise could not be recognized.

Dr. Surinder ignored fears the organs were taken for sale and stated that the remarks of the girl’s parents were an effort to “divert attention from the real cause” of her demise, which, he thought, was a “congenital heart deficiency for which she had formerly undergone surgical procedure.”

Gurkiren’s mom told media that the clinic doctor denied identifying what had been in the jab.
