Mahila Congress Confident Of Winning 4 Lok Sabha Seats
The Mahila Congress is eyeing the party ticket in 4 communities, comprising Patiala, Ferozepur, and Hoshiarpur, for the Lok Sabha polls.
This declaration has been made by its national general secretary Anita Babbar.
While talking at a gathering of workers, Anita added since females crosswise Punjab had been feeling insecure owing to “politicizing” of the police officials, they had decided to arrange camps to teach females in karate.
“Females will be prompted to energetically contribute in the panchayat samiti and zila parishad polls that will also assist them set up for the Lok Sabha polls,” Anita added.
State president Malti Thapar stated, “The Nanhi Chhaan drive set up by SAD MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal has lost its luster as inhumanities against females have witnessed a spurt during the last twelve month period in her community (Bathinda)”.
Malti Thapar showed worry over the deprived state of facilities in Abohar.
She added even after the state administration had claimed to have sanctioned Rs 65 lakh two times beneath the directions of the Punjab and Haryana High Court on a PIL, there had been no progress in the state of sewage, water works and infrastructure in the city.
