Panel In Patiala To Be Set Up For Research Aspirants

The University of Punjab will be setting up a committee for making it easy for the senior citizens and people who are settled abroad for doing a PhD or MA. This will assist people who wish to increase their knowledge as well as are doing research. But they are not able to get an admission in any of these courses because of the stringent eligibility criteria.

Dr Jaspal Singha, the Vice Chancellor said that they receive a number of applications from the scholars as well as senior citizens who are settled abroad but they are not able to meet the admission eligibility criteria. He also said that the committee will look for solutions for those applicants who wish to study further or conduct a research.
