Physical Attack: Ex Patiala Mayor Jaspal Pardhan Booked
Ex Patiala Mayor Jaspal Pardhan, who remained in debate over the so-called slaughter of her “daughter-in-law”, is in problem again.
Jaspal has been booked for allegedly attacking at 2 individuals during a fight at his residence on Sunday. The police officials are likely to record the report of one of the sufferers, Manjit Singh, who has been taken to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in Ludhiana with a lot of injuries.
Tripuri Station House Officer (SHO) Kulwant Singh stated, “Jaspal, his son Preetinder Singh and their family members have been booked for voluntarily causing injuries, rioting and illegal assembly accompanying a report by hotelman Gurdeep Walia.â€
Police officials added that they could put in Section 307 (for attempt to slaughter) to the case after taking Gurdeep’s brother Manjit’s report.
“We have been told by the physicians taking care of Manjit that he has a stab injury in his lungs,” added Patiala SSP Gurpreet Singh Gill.
“These are grave developments. There are bribery charges against Jaspal. The party high command may take some action in this regard,” state a leading SAD head.
