Punjab: Bahujan Samaj Party Declares Candidates For 4 Lok Sabha Seats
Today, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) declared applicants for 4 parliamentary seats in the state prior to the general polls planned by 2014.
BSP national general secretary Narendar Kashyap stated that the party has selected Ram Kumar Prajapati from the city Ferozepur, Bhagwan Singh Chouhan from the city Hoshiarpur, Jarnail Singh Kamboj from the city of Patiala and Sucha Singh Mann from Khadoor Sahib.
Amongst the 4 applicants, 2 are from the schedule caste (SC) and as many from the backward class (BC), Narendar Kashyap stated.
“We are anticipating early Lok Sabha elections and that is why we have commenced gearing up for the same,” Kashyap also said.
Expressing that the party will contend on all 13 LS seats in the state, Narendar winnowed out option of forging coalition with any party in Lok Sabha elections.
The Bahujan Samaj Party had failed to be the victor of a single seat in last LS polls in the state.
