Smugglers Attack Tax Officials, Policemen In Patiala

Yet again smugglers attacked on duty police inspector and excise officials in Ghanaur before fleeing away late Tuesday afternoon.

The incident clearly shows the wits of the tax evaders. The assailants that fled challenging the on duty excise and police officials have been charged in pertaining attempt to murder and cheating, while one was arrested on the spot.

Punjab government and the law enforcing agencies have again failed in attempt to decrease these incidents that have been undergoing in the state over the past year which leads to hundreds of crores revenue loss each year.
