Suvidha Camps Coming To All Rustic Zones, Says Rakhra

The state administration would arrange Suvidha Camps in all rustic arenas as well as cities in order to bring different administrative services to people at their doorway.

Mr. Surjit Singh Rakhra, rural development and panchayat minister, made announcement about the decision.

The said camp gathers representatives of many sections at one place to provide solutions to the individuals instantly. At the camps, the individuals can apply for social-security retirement fund, driver’s license, ID card, land registration, or caste credential.

“The aim is to save citizens from annoyance of scurrying between different offices,” added Mr. Rakhra. .

Kicking off Suvidha Camp in Ward 31 of Patiala in the company of councilor and Youth Akali Dal state general secretary Harpal Juneja, he stated that the response had been wonderful.

Thursday’s camp will be model for related incidents elsewhere in Punjab.

Councillor Juneja expressed gratitude towards the government for backing the proposal.

Juneja, who was a well-known applicant for the position of mayor in the appointment on Tuesday (April 2), utilized the occasion to prove his value and power to the party.

District planning board chairman Deepinder Singh Dhillon; Mayor Amaninder Singh Bajaj; senior Akali leader and former member of Rajya Sabha Amarjeet Kaur; deputy commissioner GK Singh; and senior superintendent of police Gurpreet Singh Gill were alsp there.
